This week's Encouragement was submitted by: Caroline McColloch and Beth Kazer
These shy flowers caught my eye in early March while hurrying past on a typical work day; so tiny, so delicate and unassuming. Their subtle color and inviting shape surrounded by dead grass and leaves is such a stark contrast!
The image strikes me as analogous to Christians living in this fallen world…surrounded by the secular and the profane and the whisperings of fear, doubt and despair... It is the audacity of hope; it is the joy undaunted by circumstances…our birthright as children of God! Brothers and sisters, let your light shine!
