2019 Activities:
During July, we conducted a written “Technology Survey” among members and friends of Westminster; to better understand our current use of technology and obtain suggestions for improvement. The results of the survey gave direction to our efforts.
We revised the content and format of our “Monday Morning” newsletter, updated the “One Call Now” process and database, and made changes to the Sanctuary Sound and PowerPoint Projection systems. These activities will always be a work in process based on continuous improvement.
Our largest project was the upgrading of the website. This involved understanding our website objectives, determining content, and the physical design and layout of the website. We worked with a website developer, and the design and format of the website is nearly finished. The next step will be to upload initial content followed by an ongoing effort to ensure that content is timely updated and remains relevant. While taking longer than anticipated, we have made meaningful progress and will see continued improvement over the next few months.
